The Coalition for Home Repair's conference planning committee is excited to announce the theme of the 12th ReFrame Conference: Strong Foundations for Vibrant Communities.
Our plenaries and some break-out sessions will be focused on improving organization culture, cultivating diverse revenue streams, and other ways to build stronger foundations for home repair programs. The goal is to increase our impact. We want to repair more homes and complete projects that are more sustainable so that we can restore vibrant communities nationwide. We also want to ensure that home repair programs provide a great experience for everyone: homeowners, donors, volunteers, partners, and staff.
Our opening speaker will be JC Lyle, Executive Director of Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (WARM), a Coalition Member. Her plenary, "Professional Fitness for High Performance," will inspire and educate everyone! She will also lead a break-out session titled "Volunteer Fundraisers Gone Wild!" about conflict management in high pressure situations. JC Lyle has served as WARM’s Executive Director since January 2009. Under her leadership, WARM's annual revenue and productivity have grown by an average of 14% every year. The organization now serves seven counties in North Carolina and recently opened two satellite offices. One of her long-term goals is to start a social enterprise to ensure WARM’s sustainability. Early bird conference registration will open in June. It will be a hybrid event held in Kingsport, Tennessee and online. We'll reveal the second plenary speaker soon!
