Organization Overview

Rutherford Housing Partnership was established in 1995 in response to a recognized need for critical home repairs within Rutherford County, North Carolina. The organization emerged from a collaborative effort led by community leaders affiliated with the Yokefellow Service Center and Pisgah Legal Services. Their work culminated in the formal incorporation of RHP as a nonprofit organization in February 1998.
From its inception, RHP has been committed to improving housing conditions by raising funds for building materials and engaging volunteers to provide the labor necessary for home repairs. Over the years, RHP has expanded its impact through partnerships with local churches, businesses, and civic organizations, enabling the completion of an increasing number of repair projects.
Vision Statement:
Every resident of Rutherford County, North Carolina will have access to safe, affordable housing through the elimination of substandard living conditions.
