Roundtable Discussion: Planning Your 2025 Communications Calendar

Informal discussion about organizational 2025 calendar planning

Tuesday, December 10, 2024
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (EST)
Join Us Virtually (Google Meet)

Join communications and marketing members for an informal discussion on planning your 2025 communications. While we will cover the full calendar, we'll try to keep examples and detailed conversations focused on January - May so staff can prioritize Q1 and Q2 deliverables.

Potential Discussion Topics/Questions

  • Share a high-level overview of your organization's annual cadence, how that affects your communications planning
  • Share your favorite annual campaign or event and why, or share about a recent deliverable you're proud of
  • Does your organization have a social media holiday observance policy? If so, which days/months are included?
  • Does your organization have upcoming milestones or capital campaigns?
  • What does your team use for editorial calendar management? Do you use an internal creative brief?
  • What tool kits the Coalition plans to share in 2025 to help communications staff
  • What awards/recognition does your organization plan to honor others with? How do you use awards in your annual calendar plan?
  • Sharing successful blog post topics (and links if able) so peers can get inspiration
