The Home Repair Coordinator and Safety Officer is part to of the Ministries Department and is responsible for managing the construction aspects of the repair program in Central Appalachia. The Home Repair Coordinator is involved in researching new construction techniques and materials, training staff, networking with licensed professionals and inspectors, establishing and assessing quality standards, ensuring that major projects present safe conditions for volunteers, problem solving and special projects. The Home Repair Coordinator reports to the Chief Operating Officer and supervises Construction Consultants during the Summer Program. The position is based in Johnson City, Tennessee.
