Deep Tend: Self-Care Strategy and Burnout Prevention
Deep Tend: A Self-Care Strategy and Burnout Prevention Session provides an opportunity for you to slow down, check-in on how you are feeling, learn a little about stress and burnout, be guided in self-calming practices, find support in a community who understands what you are experiencing, discern what self-care you most need at the moment, and create a gentle plan to support your well-being.
Rosie will lead us in a self-care check-in and strategy session designed to help you decompress while giving you time and support to create a self-care plan and tools to support you beyond the workshop. We’ll reflect on how we’re feeling/doing and why, learn about preventative self-care, stress, and burnout, review six components of well-being, and consider what we are doing in each area to support our well-being. We'll also make well-being plans to boost our care in some of those areas and create a self-care tracker to help us remember what care habits we want to boost. Participants will need pen and paper for the exercises we’ll complete.
