Roundtable Discussion: Engaging Volunteers

Before the summer volunteer season, join us for a roundtable discussion with fellow Coalition members! Come prepared to discuss strategies that have worked for your organization and/or areas your program has struggled with.  

Some questions to guide our discussion:

• What is your organization's greatest need for volunteer engagement? (fee-paying groups, skilled volunteers, general individual volunteers, etc)
• How does your organization retain volunteers? 
• Does your organization have skilled volunteers? If so, how does your organization recruit and onboard skilled volunteers?
• How does your organization ensure volunteers have a positive experience?
• How does your organization recognize volunteer impact?
• How is your organization celebrating National Volunteer Appreciation Week (April 21st - 27th)?
