SUMMARY:
The Coalition for Home Repair promotes the preservation of safe, healthy, affordable housing for all by supporting the work of home repair and rehabilitation partners nationwide. The Executive & Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficient administration of organization’s activities on behalf and with the Executive Director. The employee also serves as a first point of contact for inquiries from home repair organizations and the public seeking information. The duties of this position are subject to change based on the needs of the organization and future grant funding. The Executive & Operations Coordinator reports to the Executive Director. This is a part-time, non-exempt remote position requiring occasional travel.
General Responsibilities:

Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the Executive Director and/or other assigned staff.

Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents

Conducts research for the executive director for fundraising and advocacy

Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of the executive director, taking notes and recording minutes.

Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of the executive director, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.

Responds to requests for information from the public seeking home repair assistance.

Maintains records online, orders supplies, and coordinates with vendors, as needed

Arrange travel and accommodations

Attends events with colleagues to promote the organization's mission and activities.

Supports the Executive Director and Grants Compliance Officer with maintaining operational policies.

In collaboration with all staff, assists in the development of standard operating procedures to improve the efficiency of processes as needed.

Performs additional duties as assigned by the executive director.
Desired Background:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

Familiarity with affordable housing preservation, home repair, veterans, or nonprofits.
