Let's raise our voices together for housing preservation!

Category: Advocacy Event

Taking place in June during National Homeownership Month, join the Coalition for Home Repair for our first annual Preserving Home Capitol Hill Day—an exciting opportunity to advocate for stronger support and investment in home repair and housing preservation programs at the federal, state, and local levels.

On Tuesday, June 17, participants will gather in Washington, DC (or join virtually) to meet with members of Congress. You’ll share stories from your community, highlight the impact of your work, and advocate for policies that ensure safe, healthy homes for low- and moderate- income residents across the country.

Home repair leaders, program staff, and advocates are all encouraged to attend, whether you're new to advocacy or have years of experience engaging with policymakers.

Please register here by May 13 so we can effectively plan legislative meetings, finalize schedules, and prepare training materials. This deadline ensures we can support your participation and make the most of our collective advocacy efforts. Detailed information—including training sessions and advocacy resources—will be provided by May 23. Meeting schedules will be provided closer to the event date.
