Fundraising Bootcamp

This bootcamp is designed to help home repair nonprofits generate more revenue; it will be a comprehensive overview of fundraising for nonprofits. Alex Comfort and Ginger Keller-Ferguson will be leading the cohort. You can learn about them here

Attendance at most meetings will be expected but all sessions will be recorded for those who have to miss a class. The cohort will meet via Zoom on the first Tuesday of each month from 10:30am-12:00pm ET. 

The bootcamp training outline:  
  • April 5 - Introduction to Fundraising
  • May 3 - Major Donors
  • June 7 - Annual Fund
  • July 5 - Planned Giving & Endowments
  • Aug 2 - Earned Income
  • Sept 6 - Grantwriting

The best way for an organization to benefit from the bootcamp is to have the Executive Director, Director of Development, and a Board Member take the class together. The course is suitable for those new to fundraising and those with experience. It wil be an overview of the entire field of fundraising and how to put it into practice.

The cost is $250 for Coalition Members, and $500 for non-members.
