Public Health and Home Repair: Making the Connection

This session is a part of our 2025 Aging in Place Cohort series, but is open to all! This presentation will include a brief history of public health, its core concepts and essential functions, and discuss the connections between home repair and social determinants of health. Examples of public health and home repair program collaborations will be provided along with practical ideas for collaborating with your local public health organizations to provide additional services to your clients. This session will be led by Coalition staff members Jill Webber, Grants Compliance Officer, and Bene Dombasi, OAHMP Program Manager.
