Spring Scrum: Fundraising

Friday, April 22, 2022
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM (EDT)
This event will be held via Zoom
Category: Summit

A scrum is the most intense, controlled focus of energy to be found in just about any sporting match; we're taking this moment from rugby and applying it to the most intense, controlled focus of energy on fundraising for home repair programs that you've ever experienced. You'll receive suggestions and input from up to a dozen other home repair programs!

We'll start the 90-minute roundtable with a short presentation about resources available through the Coalition for Home Repair that relate to fundraising. Then we'll dive into introductions and the scrum.

When you register, you'll be asked about the two toughest challenges, questions, and obstacles you face. We want to know what keeps you up at night.

From your responses, we'll choose the discussion topics and send the agenda to you a day in advance. Those whose questions are chosen would be asked to give a short synopsis of the challenge, then answer questions from the other attendees. Then everyone will type suggestions in the chat box and we'd move on to the next topic.

With the energy we'll have in one [virtual] room, you're sure to leave with solutions for issues related to donor prospecting & stewardship, grant research & writing, monthly donors, planned giving, corporate sponsors, fundraising events, and more! Becca Davis, Executive Director of the Coalition for Home Repair, will facilitate this roundtable.

Best of all, this roundtable is FREE To members, thanks to the Maker's Grant that we received from Stanley Black & Decker! Learn more

We will record most of the session but participants may request to pause the recording if they'd like to discuss sensitive topics in confidence with those present.

Register before adding to calendar in order to ensure that the Zoom link will be included in the calendar invitation.
