The Best Practices Guide for Home Repair Nonprofits was released in June 2018. The 60-page document helps home repair programs become more efficient and effective. It's only available to Coalition Members! 

More than 25 people from 16 organizations worked together for 2+ years to create the guide. Thank you to the Best Practices Task Force, subcommittees, and everyone else who worked on this resource.

The guide includes these topics: stewardship of volunteers, partnership with homeowners, home repair practices, temporary staff, community partnership, and assessment & evaluation. It contains links to over 100 additional resources.

We strongly encourage you to complete the self-assessment at the end the guide—it's a great way to celebrate your successes and to identify areas for continued improvement.
